JUST WRITE IT!

Standard

As an author and screenwriter I usually draft an outline or write a beat sheet before writing a new book or script. But today, something just clicked in my head, a new title for a new screenplay. So…the longer the title lingered in my head with suspense, the log line started formulating. Then, I realized and decided that adding a dash of truth from a horrible marriage and divorce I went through, was and is a healthy way to release the pain in my heart which remains from that marital experience. Now, having registered my idea with the Writers Guild of America, I’m just going to write it. No outline, beat sheet, treatment or synopsis- JUST WRITE IT!

Title: We Were There

Log Line: A family of three witnesses get terrorized by the spirit of an innocent man executed on death row for a murder he didn’t commit, and the only way he’ll let them live is if they confess the truth to clear his good name.
