Calculated steps of my imagination shall soon bring about that which I desire, one written journey at a time.

Journey of The Untold
Log Line/One-Liner: A magical moment in a storybook becomes a reality for a little girl who discovers that she’s destined to restore humanity back to its intended state of harmony.
“THIS DUST FOR US AS WE MUST BE, CREATE A BETTER WORLD FOR YOU AND ME,” is the magic spell a noble King once spoke centuries ago in a storybook. Now, Ashlyn Willow, an 8 year old little girl has that same storybook, the last of its kind which her mother abandoned her with one cold Winter night when she was only a year old. Although an old and worn Bible was left in baby Ashlyn’s nap-sack, too, the storybook titled The Created, has a vile-like plastic tube in the binding of it which has different colored crystal-like dust particles in it layered from top to bottom with: White, Purple, Yellow, Blue, Green, Red, and Black. Little does Ashlyn know yet later finds out, the colors of dust represent certain flowers of importance such as a: White Lotus, Purple Orchid, Blue-Eyed Grass Flower, Green Cone Flower, Red Rose, and a rare Black Capsicum Annuum, which resembles a shiny black marble surrounded by thin black leaves. Even more so, the colors also represent key animal and insect friends sent into Ashlyn’s life for a reason, as they accompany her and other friends during the course of her untold journey.
Ashlyn gets taken in on a fateful Winter night by Franklin and Grace Time, an elderly couple that lives in an isolated cabin-like home surrounded by the woods, a pleasant countryside, and mountains. The Times’ manage to take great care of Ashlyn, until one tragic night when she’s 8 years old, a night that results in Ashlyn becoming an Orphan at the Dismal Orphanage for kids. During her stay at the Orphanage, Ashlyn encounters an eerie one-eyed haggard woman, an employee of the orphanage, who tells her that she has “royal task to complete.” Once the magical power of Ashlyn’s storybook is realized, then revealed out of sworn secrecy and shared with an evil mind, Ashlyn and her friends escape from the Dismal Estate and set out to undo what the King in the storybook did centuries ago.
In The Created storybook, the King dried out the special flowers one night by his fireplace, after his trusted son-like servant Tippy warned him of a forthcoming betrayal. Following woeful contemplation, the King performed his magic spell (“This Dust For Us As We Must Be, Create A Better World For You And Me”) with the dried-out special flowers, and as one world ended another world began- a world that Ashlyn must save upon embarking on her dangerous journey.
Two different worlds are brought together with two different books, but only one book can save one world- through the courage of one little girl.

Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass.
By far one of my favorite “show & tell” quotes, something it took me years to learn as a screenwriter, and now author.
Happy reading and writing!

Day 4 Prayer:
Pray that your pastor will counsel and teach with discernment through the wise use of Scripture and faith in God’s power to work. Pray that he will be protected from the effects of sinful or negative attitudes that he encounters as he counsels. (Mal. 2:7; James 1:5-6; John 17:15)
